How the Program Works:

During a ConnectedSolutions event, your battery may discharge a portion of stored energy to help stabilize the grid when electricity demand is at its highest.

These events typically occur on hot summer afternoons, when the grid is under stress.

Your Sol-Ark system participates automatically without requiring any action from you.

Key details:

  • Enroll using the MySolArk web or mobile app.

  • $225 per average kilowatt (kW) used per event, averaged over the season.*

  • No customer may receive more than $6,875/year.*

  • Events occur primarily between June and September.

  • Events are  2 - 3 hours in length.

  • Your system maintains backup protection for your home.

  • Once enrolled, participation is fully automated.

  • You can opt out of specific VPP events at any time.

* Payouts are performance-based compensation and are subject to program approval, customer eligibility, and applicable program terms.
